Yes, for the most part French Bulldogs are great with children! They love to play, and cuddle with everyone!

The simple answer is no. They can swim if they are assisted and accompanied by a human being. They also most likely need a "dog life-jacket." They cannot swim on their own because their bodies are too compact and are not buoyant causing them to sink!
